Behavioral Support Services are professional-level services designed to assist clients who exhibit significant, intensive, and challenging behaviors. These behaviors can often interfere with essential activities of daily living, such as personal and household tasks, as well as routine social interactions.
Additionally, these supports play a crucial role in improving clients’ ability to engage in school and similar situations, where effective communication and social skills are vital. Reaching Clarity provides tailored behavioral interventions and strategies aimed at enhancing the overall quality of life for individuals facing these challenges, promoting greater independence, positive behavior, and social engagement.
The Georgia Pediatric Program is a Medicaid program that provides FREE services to medically fragile children under the age of 21 in need of behavioral support services, in their homes. Services are approved based on the child’s medical needs, and families who are eligible for Medicaid can apply for GAPP at any time.
